Should I ... shouldn't I ... mention the US election?
Looking back I've previously written things about another nation in turmoil!
Reading that I wonder ... is some of that relevant?
"I feel that a day is coming, and it may not be far off, when this country will need a leader with the humility, grace and wisdom to handle it".
The US election over.
Biden claiming victory (or has he - what is the legal status?).
Trump remains in office for a few more weeks (the way they do things there).
A lot could happen in the next few weeks.
Who a year ago thought that by November 2020 'life as we knew it would be put on hold (or for some be over)'?
I am reminded of Acts 12:21-24.
"... the voice of a god, not of a man ... did not give praise to God ... but the word of God continued to spread and flourish."
Don't wish that on either Trump or Biden but the scripture is clear there will be a day of reckoning.
There are times when the forbearance (2 Peter 3:9) of or our God reaches a point where He declares "Enough is enough" (Genesis 15:16).
So "it is not over until it is over" and the coming revival may look a lot different to what many North American Christians would like / hope for (Matthew 6:33).
