Identity

The God all creation considers you to be of VALUE (Luke 12:24).
The God all creation loves you (John 3:16).

Assignment

Your job, location, circumstances are not an 'accident of birth' (Jeremiah 1:5, Isaiah 44:24, Galatians 1:15).
You might have been brought to this place by a carrot of gold, a stick of bills, a dodgy beauty contest, the loss of the love of your life or worse ...
Are you here by Divine appointment (Esther 4:14)?

Calling

The outcome of your assignment.
Is there a common thread running through your different assignments?
You may not be where you want to be - but do you seek the welfare of this place (Jeremiah 29:7).
Are you aligning yourself with God's purposes (Romans 8:28, Daniel 1:11-14, Daniel 2:18).

Anointing

Being equipped for the assingment.
God doesn’t call the equipped — he equips the called.
Not a biblical quote but many testify that that is their experience - make the first step ...
Equiping is not the same as ability - equipment needs ability (right effort) to be effective.
God knows our ability (Matthew 25:15).
Ability here is trustworthiness and persistence (Matthew 25:14-30). Its easy to think of the 5 talent guy as someone who could make money by clicking his fingers - Jesus does not elaborate on the detail or any blood, sweat and tears being involved in making the profit. Maybe the first 4 investments went bellyup but with the final one he recouped the earlier losses and doubled the original amount. Makes the 1 talent guy look even worse ... he could have put it in the bank and rested in a deck chair while waiting for the bosses return!
