Well, I don't know.
Are we in 'The Last Days' - Yes! They began around AD30 - AD70.
Are we in a time or war or a time of peace? cf Ecclesiastes 3:8.
We don't get to make that decision - our enemies do.
Do you / your community declare 2 Chronicles 7:14?
Why?
Do you hunger and thirst for righteousness (Matthew 5:6) or for a time of peace?
I recently came across this video.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yDFr5IsQW-Y
Somehow I sat through it to the end.
Obviously promoting his books (I don't have) and his tours / cruises (not my scene).
No problem with such providing him and his family with an income - but what is this all about?
Interesting how he has drawn parallels between recent USA history and a period from the history of Israel following the death of Solomon.
My view is that the LORD has revealed this parallel to Jonathan Cahn as an invitation to pray.
Maybe not to sell books - but a worker is worthy of his hire, so I don't despise him for that.
cf Luke 10:7,1 Timothy 5:18,Matthew 10:10,Leviticus 19:13,Deuteronomy 24:15
Anyway its a way of getting the invitation to pray out cf Phillipians 1:15-18.
Pray what? ... that we will have a time of peace? NO!
He makes the point - a change of government does not change the heart of the people.
We see that in the history of Israel cf Hebrews 3:10-11.
One common theme which keeps coming through my mind when I think about these things 'pray for a pandemic of righteousness'.
Not legalism which is fake / conterfeit righteousness - confusing ... but look at the fruit.
Peace with God will not give us peace from our enemies.
Is your heart set on seeking the LORD, the God of Israel?
Or you do want peace now and an eternity of bitterness and regret?
Jesus loves me this I know for the Bible tells me so.
Little ones ot Him belond they are weak, but He is strong.
I know Jesus loves you.
Will you grab hold of that or grab the temporary peace offered by Satan by turning your back on the God who cries for you?
