John 10 22-31:
Then came the Festival of Dedication (Hanukkah) at Jerusalem. It was winter, and Jesus was in the temple courts walking in Solomon’s Colonnade.
The Jews who were there gathered around him, saying, “How long will you keep us in suspense? If you are the Messiah, tell us plainly.”
Jesus answered, “I did tell you, but you do not believe. ...”
Again his Jewish opponents picked up stones to stone him, but Jesus said to them, “I have shown you many good works from the Father. For which of these do you stone me?”
Luke 2:8-12:
“Today in the town of David a Saviour has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.
This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.”
This sign would be significant for a "Levitical Shepherd" attending sheep intended as sacrificial lambs in the temple.
John 1:29
The next day, John (the Baptist) sees Jesus (Yeshua) coming to him and says, “Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!”
Matthew 11:2-5
Luke 7:16-23
Now when John (the Baptist) heard in prison about the works of the Messiah, he sent word through his disciples and said to Jesus (Yeshua), “Are You the Coming One, or do we look for another?”
Jesus (Yeshua) replied, “Go report to John what you hear and see: the blind see and the lame walk, those with leprosy (tzara’at) are cleansed and the deaf hear, and the dead are raised and the poor have good news proclaimed to them.
Blessed is the one who is not led to stumble because of Me.”
