Like most people could not help noticing that the last week has been Easter. Many churches which observe such occasions will have read about some miserable men in a boat about 100yds from the shore having just had a few hours of unsuccessull fishing when a stranger on the shore shouted 'Try the other side!'. Could a play of morning light on the water showed him something they did not see? Not told - but we do know they tried and had a massive catch!

That stranger was Jesus - the full story can be read in the Bible John Ch 21.

Miracle? We are not told and I don't care.
Either way Jesus saw things 'from a different perspective' (phrase pinched from certain radio soundbite).

Do you seek Jesus' perspective or do you fall at the first hurdle and not ask?
James 4v3 - But what about motives? Consider - you won't get anything unless you ask!

What to ask? -  see psalm 139 vv23-24...

Look deep into my heart God and find out everything I am thinking.
Don't let me follow evil ways, but lead me in the way that has proved true.

Wrong motives sorted!
Consider - Heb 12v13

Make straight paths for your feet so that that which is damaged may not be destroyed but instead be restored.

Don't worry about small slow difficult steps - make them, you will not go anywhere until you do.
Jesus' will for your life is wholeness and restoration - only Satan wants to kill and destroy.
