I mentioned at the start of what has become a 'God is Good' series that it had been burning in me at the time that I had to declare that 'God is Good' before it is too late.

Did not intend to continue on that theme in the way I have. Aware that what I have recorded is said in weakness, but I am reminded that such stories of the goodness of God are powerful regardless of the inadequacies of the vessel.

In breaking the news to someone earlier today reminded afresh of how God has been good to us through this time. A season I (and my wife) do (did) not want to go through. A short while ago my wife said something about this being a precious time and would be worth it.

Agh! She is now enjoying a life I have only a dim vision of, while I have to go through this season and wait ... years until I also 'pass through the valley'. But 'God is Good' and I don't have to wait until then to worship Jesus. I don't have to wait until then to be satisfied with Jesus.

I shared a few thoughts at church the other day.
